Arapahoe is a community that has been
blessed with generations of hard working people. Our businesses
and our agriculture producers supporting the community have learned
hard work from their ancestors, which is passed on from generations

The
Arapahoe Chamber of Commerce was formed and incorporated in December
of 1967. The Chamber has always been an active organization within
the community. The Chamber provides lunch for all the teachers of
the Arapahoe School on the first Tuesday of March in recognition
of "Teacher Appreciation Day", they sponsor the annual Easter Egg
Hunt, the longstanding 4th of July celebration Prairie Pioneer Days,
Merchant Sidewalk Sales, City wide garage sales, Halloween celebration
including a children's costume parade, Holiday Highlights Craft
Show, Thanksgiving promotion, and Festival of Lights Christmas celebration.
