Located southwest of the St. Paul Episcopal Church, the Outdoor
Classroom was the dream of former Arapahoe Science teacher, George
Probasco.  Through countless efforts, Probasco along with a crew of community volunteers, were able to make that dream a reality and
created a beautiful park-like outdoor classroom on approximately one
acre of undeveloped land within Arapahoe's city limits.

Improvements included a small pond and waterfall, picnic shelter
with tables, old-fashioned lighting and a gazebo. There are 25
different species of trees, several types of plants including annual
and perennial flowers.

In addition to the educational aspect, the tranquil and inviting
setting is a very popular spot among those that enjoy making it part
of their walking route or for those that just enjoy sitting and relaxing in the peaceful surroundings.

The Outdoor Classroom is available for educational classroom use,
picnics, meetings and weddings.
